Deacons

The deacons serve in a variety roles and fill a variety of needs - all as a way to support all those who enter the building plus share the Love of Christ!

• Each month, the deacons prepare and clean up communion for the congregation, and on occasion for smaller groups (ie Lenton Luncheon, etc).
• Baby blankets are presented to families with new children
• We provide food for the Great Fall Kickoff
• Weekly visits to shut-ins
• Providing assistance to the food pantry
• Around the holidays, deacons provide the Easter Lillies and palm crosses, along with poinsettias at Christmas
• As a deacon, we have made it a focus to seek out new faces as a welcoming figure
• We provide grief books during seasons of tragedy
